MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND SELF-MONITORING PROCEDURES

We believe in sustainable social Labour compliance within the framework of our management system and strive to meet the highest standards and fully comply with local and international regulations. We regularly conduct a self-monitoring process to identify any concerns, problems or non-compliance in practice and improve ourselves from the results. Our management system follows a PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT, which guides us in developing required procedures and then implementing, continuously monitoring and improving those procedures.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING

Training is the key link to implement all standards to each employee. We regularly train all employees in the factory on social labor standards. Since 2016, we have used the trainer training method to train all employees on social labor procedures. By 2020, there will be three training cycles, focusing on everything from working hours, pay and benefits, prohibition of forced Labour, non-discrimination and anti-harassment to employee grievances. In 2020, we trained more than 1,280 employees on grievance topics.

TOA HEALTH AND SAFETY PROFILE

At TOA, our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees is an integral part of how we do business. We are committed to continuously improving the health and safety performance of our employees and will have clear policies and systems in place to achieve this goal. We believe that effective implementation of the health and safety management system and firm leadership will provide a cornerstone of excellence in health and safety for our staff on our premises.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

TOA expresses its commitment to employee health and safety through its Sustainable Business Practices Policy and puts this commitment into practice through the effective implementation of the Health and Safety Management Manual and the 17 associated standards.
